Harwood Close Surgery and Ashfield Medical Centre “Joining together to deliver high quality patient care In excellent premises”

Harwood Close Surgery and Ashfield Medical Centre have approached the CCG with a plan to join together and work as one practice  from 1 July 2018.  In addition, the plan is to relocate Harwood Close Surgery into the current building for Ashfield Medical Centre with the new practice name proposed as “King’s Medical Centre”.

A stakeholder briefing providing further details about the plans is available here.

NHS Mansfield and Ashfield CCG is now working with the practices to undertake a period of  engagement with patients and other stakeholders to gather feedback to inform the decision making process.  The engagement will continue until 22 May 2018.  Following this time, a report of the outcomes of engagement will be prepared for consideration by the Joint Primary Care Commissioning Committee who will use this information to make a final decision.
